What We Do
Our programs are designed to protect orphaned girls, uplift widows, and strengthen vulnerable families through education, shelter, health, and economic empowerment.
Orphan Girls' Protection & Education
We establish and operate girls' orphanages and schools to ensure access to both Islamic and secular education in a safe, nurturing environment.
Women's Economic Empowerment
We train women in entrepreneurship, vocational and life skills, and support them with microfinance and income-generating projects like bakery, poultry and greenhouses.
Health, Water & Sanitation
We improve access to clean water, basic healthcare, menstrual hygiene and sanitation for vulnerable girls and women.
Emergency & Social Support
We support IDPs, build houses for displaced families, and provide nutrition programs for poor households, especially those headed by women.
Girl Child Support & Orphanage Project — Elwak
In Mandera County, there are established boys' orphanages but not a single girls' orphanage, leaving girls highly vulnerable to abuse, early marriage, and neglect.
Ibaadurahman has taken over a disused boys' orphanage facility in Elwak, Mandera South, to renovate and convert it into a dedicated girls' orphanage with dormitories, a kitchen, and a large compound. The project includes a girls' mosque, classrooms, dining hall, perimeter wall, and integrated income-generating activities.
